What You’ll Do:

This isn’t an easy job and at times you will have to deal with large volumes but at Evri we act and adapt. Fast. You’ll be given the space to get the job done, thinking quickly to hit moving targets.

This is a shift-based position, working any 5 in 7 days and specifically supporting the PM shift which is 14:00-22:00.

  • Manage and control the Hub Inbound and Outbound Functions using the sorter systems and Yard systems with the support and guidance of the Hub, Systems and Yard Manager. Ensure productivity levels, compliance and shift costs are managed in line with KPI’s and budgeted targets. Achieve maximum throughputs using best practices, high levels of staff training and operational understanding. You will be monitoring a live view of the systems to ensure all KPI’s and SLA’s are met.
  • Daily planning and management of inbound and outbound operations including throughputs, parcel presentation, productivity levels and achievement of forecasted CPU against budgeted targets.
  • Monitoring of performance and analysis of reports to drive improvement plans.
  • Managing the no reads per induction and ensuring the Team leaders are managing the in feeders.
  • Ensuring efficient management of the Yard which includes the correct trailers are being called onto bay and fully processed.
  • Managing the Inbound and Outbound Gatehouse’s to ensure the correct procedures are being followed including the recruitment of staff.
  • Managing and controlling Client SLA’s, load presentation compliance, infeed targets, blockbuster targets, parcel presentation and product placement through data available on sorter system.

 

 

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of operational processes and practices, particularly hub operations
  • Proven ability to build business knowledge and translate into working practices and procedures
  • Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment
  • Be able to use internal systems and equipment
  • Experience of leading a high performing team
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
