We’re the UK's leading consumer delivery specialist, and that’s because we’re obsessed about providing our customers with the ultimate delivery experience. We run our business with customers at the heart and this is reflected in our shift towards a product centric model. We’re currently looking for a Product Manager to join us on this exciting journey as we look to expand the depth and breadth of our product portfolio across one of our three pillars: Customer & Client, Sender and Courier. The role will be supporting the Principal Product Manager who oversees the Customer & Client pillar to enable and facilitate this transition by bringing strong Product Management experience and thought leadership.

Our vision is to get a fully connected experience between our Customers with Clients and Couriers, building a totally self-serve experience, so customers can do anything they need to in the app, and only need to speak to customer support because they want to, not because they have to. Providing customers with proposition to help them engage with their parcel journey, manage their delivery preferences and more! Where a customer does need support, we want that support experience to be world class - great FAQs, great live chat experience, seamless handovers between teams, etc. - and we want it to all be managed through our app. To achieve this vision, the mobile team delivers on its own backlog, as well as supporting other teams with their mobile related needs.

As the product manager of the Mobile team, you’ll lead the team towards the vision described above. You’ll spend lots of time with customers working alongside our User Experience team to gather and act upon Customer needs, connecting clients to the importance of our app experience and data. Understanding what Customers love and what they find difficult or frustrating. You’ll be an evangelist for our customers, acting on their behalf. You’ll partner with various teams and leaders across Evri to understand what they need from the app.

You will be accountable for:

  • Building and managing a ruthlessly prioritised roadmap and explaining it to stakeholders.
  • Working with your app team to deliver and execute: you’ll collaborate with them to define requirements and be part of a high velocity culture.
  • Working with data analysts to understand the impact of the changes you’re making on customer and business outcomes and sharing those insights back to your team.
  • Carrying out user research and talking to customers generally.
  • Doing your own research to understand how the mobile app experience connects to our clients and operational business.
  • Leading with data; using spreadsheets, exploring data, and generating insights in a self-serve way.
  • Delivering through collaboration, getting your team's input, and tailoring your communication to technical and / or non-technical audiences alike.

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Mobile App Product Manager.
  • Proven skills of balancing technical knowledge with business acumen
  • Proactive in understanding key trends in industry, users and competitors
  • IT proficient to understand new product trends and technologies
  • Excellent understanding of software development processes; Agile/DevOps
  • Business understanding of Product lifecycle management including product launch, finances (budgets, cost and ROI), product retirement
  • Defining and managing product OKRs, KPIs and other metrics
  • Able to work with analytics tools to generate insights and reports
  • Experience using Product Management tools (e.g. Monday.com, Asana, Craft.io, Airfocus, ProdPad, Roadmunk, Jira/Confluence, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience with tools like PowerBI SQL would be advantageous
