At Evri, data drives everything we do. As we continue to scale and innovate, we’re looking for a BI Analyst to join our Finance BI Team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract – helping to ensure timely, accurate reporting that underpins our financial and strategic decisions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of business critical reports using Power BI, Databricks, and SAP Business Objects. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our reporting of business performance is accurate and insightful to support decision making.

This is a great time to be joining us! We’re growing year on year, with ambitious goals ahead, and we’d love for you to grow with us.

Interested? Take a look below to understand what you’ll be doing as a BI Analyst:

  • Deliver a suite of Finance BI reports, using Power BI, Databricks, and Business Objects to support performance tracking and business decision-making.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across the BI suite by identifying errors and proposing improvements.
  • Support the transition from legacy systems such as Alteryx and Business Objects to Databricks and Power BI as part of our data modernisation strategy.
  • Respond to internal stakeholder queries via the Finance BI mailbox, escalating or resolving as appropriate.
  • Assist on new and ongoing business-wide data projects as directed by the BI Manager or Senior Analyst.
  • Provide cover for BI team members during leave, ensuring continuity of service through effective handovers.
  • Ensure all analysis and reporting activity aligns with the latest GDPR and internal data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with Data Services to ensure all changes meet governance requirements and enhance long-term data integrity.

Still interested? Great News! We are looking for:

  • A relevant qualification with a focus on data, statistical analysis, or maths is advantageous.
  • Experience producing reports to strict timelines and service levels.
  • Solid Excel skills and a high level of numerical confidence with an understanding of Power BI, Tableau, or other visualisation tools
  • Familiarity with Alteryx and/or Databricks is an advantage.
  • Experience in a fast-paced operational or finance environment is preferred.
  • Ability to connect operational performance data with broader business KPIs and strategy.
  • Comfortable communicating across all levels of the business, from peers to senior stakeholders.
  • Confident in problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
