Are you ready to take the next big step in your operational career? We’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Designate Head of Hub to join our passionate team and help shape the future of our Hub network.

This is more than just a role, it’s a development opportunity designed to prepare you for a permanent Head of Hub position. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting Rugby, Barnsley, Warrington and the National Returns Hub, driving performance, and leading teams to success.

Reporting to the Head of Hub Operations, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our hubs run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll support Heads of Hub across the network, stepping in when needed, and helping to deliver on our strategic goals around cost, compliance, service, and people.

  • Championing operational excellence across all hubs
  • Supporting and deputising for Heads of Hub
  • Driving performance against SLAs and KPIs
  • Leading and developing Hub Managers and Operations Managers
  • Enhancing systems and processes for greater efficiency
  • Managing costs and capacity to meet business needs
  • Playing a key role in peak planning and strategic growth
  • Creating a safe, compliant, and engaging work environment

  • Proven leadership in operational environments
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to lead large teams and drive results
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Level 5 Management Qualification (or equivalent)
  • A full driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites
