General Manager – Netherlands

Location: Netherlands, near Utrecht / Amsterdam (Full‑Time, On‑Site Role)

Reporting to: Head of International Operations

Salary: €80,000 plus benefits

Evri is expanding our international footprint, and we’re looking for an experienced, high‑impact General Manager to lead our Netherlands operation. This is a key role with full responsibility for site performance, people leadership and operational excellence within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will have full accountability for the operational performance of the site, ensuring we deliver exceptional service while optimising cost, quality and efficiency. You will lead, coach and develop the on‑site team, driving a culture of continuous improvement and strong employee engagement.

You will be responsible for all operational KPIs, health and safety standards, budget delivery, and the end‑to‑end performance of the Netherlands hub. Working closely with international stakeholders, you will ensure seamless service to clients and suppliers while contributing to Evri’s European strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full accountability for people, service, cost and quality performance at site.
  • Lead all Health & Safety standards, partnering with Group H&S.
  • Create and deliver the site budget and plan against forecast.
  • Ensure operational targets are met while maintaining strict cost control.
  • Deliver service excellence, resolving escalations quickly and effectively.
  • Set and monitor challenging KPIs to optimise network performance.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and coach staff to ensure high engagement and capability.
  • Manage all suppliers, including line haul and final‑mile partners.
  • Control working hours in line with WTD and AWR.
  • Lead or contribute to major projects across Fulfilment, Supply Chain and Transportation.
  • Maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs through daily people and performance management.
  • Support process improvements and cost optimisation across international operations.
  • Drive contract negotiations and onboarding of external fulfilment partners.
  • Establish strong communication across cross‑functional teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in a 3PL, logistics, supply chain, operations, environment.
  • Proven track record managing KPIs, SLAs and delivering operational performance.
  • Experience leading in a fast‑paced, multi‑site or high‑growth business.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver within scope and budget.
  • Experience recruiting, coaching and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of P&L and budget control.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and systems‑driven operational solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with all employees.
