Our people are at the heart of our success, and we’re proud to be a friendly, ambitious and diverse organisation.

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Area HSE & Facilities Standards Manager to join our growing Evri Premium team. This is a key regional role where you’ll influence, implement and continuously improve safety, environmental and facilities standards across multiple sites. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and ISO standards, while supporting operational teams to create safe, efficient and sustainable workplaces across our network.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you’ll drive a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement across hubs, depots, delivery operations and offices. You’ll use data, audits and stakeholder collaboration to identify risks, implement solutions and ensure best-in-class HSEFQ performance.

You’ll take ownership of HSE & Facilities performance across our Southwest patch (Plymouth, Swindon, Southampton, Penebont and Avonmouth), working closely with depot and hub teams in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, advise and promote HSEFQ standards across all operational areas
  • Analyse risk data, conduct audits and report compliance trends to stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement programmes at site, regional and national level
  • Provide expert guidance on HSE legislation and workplace risk scenarios
  • Advise on risk assessments and appropriate control measures
  • Lead incident, near-miss and accident investigations with clear corrective actions
  • Deliver HSE training and ensure colleague competence and compliance
  • Ensure appropriate on-site emergency cover (First Aid, Fire Marshals, etc.)
  • Partner with Facilities Management (FM) suppliers to ensure service quality, cost control and performance
  • Support FM projects and day-to-day maintenance issue resolution
  • Engage with enforcing authorities during site visits
  • Promote sustainability, business continuity and environmental best practice

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years in an operational role with HSE responsibilities
  • NEBOSH Certificate (preferred or working towards)
  • IWFM Level 3+ (preferred or working towards)
  • Experience in transport or logistics environments (desirable)
  • Experience managing facilities, projects and budgets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and implement change across multiple sites
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and the bigger picture
  • Independent, resilient and results-driven approach
  • Passion for continuous improvement and safety culture
